How to convert .max to .ps2 (2025)

I have been download some PS2 save file but unfortunately it does not work with PCSX2 because it was .max not .ps2 so if you known how to convert .max to .ps2 please help me. Thank you very much

P/S: I'm new here, so if i do something wrong please forgive me.

.max is save format(single save) and .ps2 is pcsx2 memory card on which you put inside those saves

It does not work I try its on bolth Windows XP and Windows 7, may be its older version will work but I can not find them, please share me if you have its. Thank

myMC 2.5 does not work I try its on bolth Windows XP and Windows 7 and install Direct X Run-time and it is still not work

------import max to ps2 for Windows 10-----
1. try save random game with pcsx to memory card

2. download mymc

2. download msvcr71.dll in dll me web (if you run mymc n show error, need this file)

3. paste mscvr71 to this folder

3. read readme.txt to use command line.
only command line work to win 10

4. example (mcd002 is clean memory card, dragon-*.max is save from gamefaq)

mymc C:\Users\anggadaz\Documents\PCSX2\memcards\Mcd002.ps2 import C:\Users\anggadaz\Documents\PCSX2\memcards\dragon-quest-viii-journey-of-the-cursed-king.11768.max

5. if no error the memory is copy to mcd002.ps2

6. load game and enjoy
